Kevan Manwaring has been commissioned by the History Press to put together a new book
in their popular Folk Tales series. Uniquely it will not have one author but twenty storytellers,
including Eric Maddern, Anthony Nanson and Kirsty Hartsiotis, each taking a ballad and turning it into a folk tale.

Many British ballads have cracking stories, tales of love, murder and mystery, the supernatural and the historical and the storytellers have been given the opportunity to expand on the narrative, possibly even using it as a springboard for something in a completely different setting, time or genre.

The History Press is looking for early subscribers who would like to order an advance copy. The expected publication price will be £9.99 and this offer is limited to 100, whose names will be included in the book.
